A Conversation with Jed Miller
Jed is a third generation Miller, and he came up fishing with his Dad, Dan. "I started fishing with my Dad in a Boston Whaler, I was about 5." Jed went with his brother and sister for a while, and then started going on his own when he was about 12 in "an old leaky wooden skiff." Jed went off to University of Maine and studied psychology, but there was never any question in his mind about what he'd do when he graduated. About fishing: "I could never give it up."
Jed has three kids of his own. "The oldest two have started hauling." What he loves about fishing? Being independent and being on the water. About the Co-op: "It's awesome. It feels right to have a partnership, we're better when we're all working together."
